Promoting chess for girls throughout the English Counties.
Purpose of ECGCF
The ECGCF organises an annual competition for teams of U14 girls representing the Real Counties of England. The County
holding the Grand Cup for 2006 is Yorkshire.
There is also an annual competition for County teams of U11 girls, the Whitehead
Cup. The winning County in 2006 was Lancashire.
